540 Hour High School Program

Email Print PDF

The first week or so is filled with forms, orientations, basic training and general getting ready for the real work.

For the PC Technician program here is some dates and information that may prove helpful in keeping you on track.

Your start date for this part of the program is Monday September 6, 2010.
Your targeted completion date is Friday October 18, 2010.

This is 30 lab days at 3 hours per day for a total of 90 hours.  We have given you a few extra days this week to get adjusted and into a routine. You MUST do some homework in order to meet this deadline.

Each program builds on the knowledge of the previous program. If you fail to grasp concepts in one you will fail or at the least struggle to keep up on the next and the next.

Just like in a real job, if you finisih your work early you can't just quit working.  You must start the next program.  For some this is an awesome opportunity to get more than you paid for.  For others, it means you won't work as hard as you might otherwise because now you can go at an easy pace for you and still meet the deadline.  Meh...oh well.

In addition to the practice exams in the Labsim training we have additional practice exams to get you ready for the real industry exam. You will literally come in, take your shoes off, put your feet up, bring in your favorite caffeinated drink and go through hundreds of test questions.

The purpose of this is to get you over any anxiety you have about testing, the format of the test, the length of the test etc.

BE SURE TO CHECK THE PC TECHNICIAN HOMEPAGE FOR BENCHMARKS!
